PLC數(shù)據(jù)處理層位于現(xiàn)場設(shè)備層和運(yùn)行監(jiān)控中心層之間，主要完成上下層之間的網(wǎng)絡(luò)連接轉(zhuǎn)換和信息的處理交換。通過PROFIBUS現(xiàn)場總線，把采集的數(shù)據(jù)傳送到PLC數(shù)據(jù)處理層，對數(shù)據(jù)作規(guī)范化預(yù)處理，處理的數(shù)據(jù)與時(shí)標(biāo)相對應(yīng)，并可在數(shù)據(jù)緩沖區(qū)中儲(chǔ)存一周。PLC獲取和處理的數(shù)據(jù)有選擇性地上傳到控制中心，以便于集中監(jiān)視現(xiàn)場工況信息;同時(shí)，下達(dá)來自于控制中心的遙控和遙調(diào)信息給現(xiàn)場設(shè)備層的各類智能設(shè)備及儀表。通過組態(tài)編程，PLC能夠自動(dòng)控制現(xiàn)場設(shè)備層的智能設(shè)備。

操作與監(jiān)控中心硬件配置根據(jù)用戶的實(shí)際需求，可以配置出靈活豐富、功能強(qiáng)大的系統(tǒng)，比如，考慮冗余情況，配置主備數(shù)據(jù)庫服務(wù)器、主備前置機(jī)、操作員工作站、WEB服務(wù)器等，基于控制中心系統(tǒng)的安全，系統(tǒng)還可以配置不同的網(wǎng)段。監(jiān)控中心軟件由WinCC開發(fā)出友好的人機(jī)界面。配電實(shí)時(shí)工況信息以曲線、表格以及參數(shù)化處理后的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行顯示，也可顯示整個(gè)系統(tǒng)的數(shù)據(jù)。系統(tǒng)對重要的信息進(jìn)行存盤歸檔，同時(shí)，提供靈活豐富的報(bào)表功能，用戶可以依據(jù)實(shí)際需求靈活自定義報(bào)表。因此，管理人員在控制中心利用透明化的能源管理來進(jìn)行有效地分析和決策，實(shí)現(xiàn)節(jié)能、省電、降低運(yùn)行成本。
